SMS terms
These terms apply to text messages sent through Rentivox.
Program
Program name: Rentivox Rent Notifications.
Landlords use Rentivox to text their tenants about rent. Messages come from the landlord’s dedicated Rentivox phone number and include rent reminders, payment receipts, lease and maintenance notices, and replies from the landlord.
How tenants opt in
The landlord adds the tenant’s phone number in Rentivox. The tenant then receives one confirmation text. No reminders are sent unless the tenant replies YES. We record the date, time and number of each consent.
Confirmation text
Hi Maria, this is Alex, your landlord at 124 Maple Ave. I use Rentivox to send rent reminders and receipts. Reply YES to get these texts (about 4 a month). Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Msg & data rates may apply.
Consent is not a condition of renting or of any purchase. Tenants who do not opt in can receive reminders by email instead.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. Typically about 4 messages a month per lease, plus replies to messages the tenant sends. Automated messages are sent only between 8 am and 8 pm in the tenant’s local time.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will get one final confirmation and no further messages. UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT also work. Reply START to subscribe again.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or email support@rentivox.com.
